Featuring a curated mix of African-made fashion and design, the pop-up store presents a vast array of ethically made and sourced products from the African continent which include luxury handbag brand Okapi, collections from designers Franzur Parum, Halsted, Maxhosa by Laduma, Henriette Botha, Laurence Airline, Bantu, Lalesso and Loza Maleombho. Each brand present comes with a capsule collection.

Founder and creator of Merchants on Long, Hanneli Rupert, says the Paris successor to the Merchants pop-ups in London aims to bring the best of what Africa has to offer to Paris.

The concept behind Merchants is to curate and showcase beautifully, ethically made and sourced products from the African continent with all stocked brands having already passed the vetting process for their design, quality, sustainable and ethical practices.

“Pop-In” is hotel brand Amastan’s platform for artistic expression with a running schedule of residencies including art exhibitions, installations, screenings, window displays, showrooms and launches amongst others.

Hosted in Paris’ first space fully dedicated to hosting pop-ups, “Pop-In”, the installation will also host an array of talks, events and performances during their stay from the 14th of September the until 6th of October.

Locate them at Paris’s 8th arrondisement, adjacent to the hotel Amastan Paris between Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré and Avenue des Champs-Elysées.
