Dashiki heritage of African Textiles

Dashiki aka Anjolina was named after « Danshiki » which means shirt in yoruba. Made popular in the west in the early 50’s, it is one of the symbol of African textiles.  This print have been so inspiring over the years, we couldn’t resist neither than Stevie Wonder, Jimmy Hendrix, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Jesse Jackson, Alicia Keys & Common who have proudly worn the « Danshiki ».
